We are in a very high wind area, but because there is only a small amount of water actually in the collectors, we have had no trouble from noise or forces on the roof. Each time we go to the barn, the 200 litre tank is full of very hot water. We mainly use the hot water for a shower and basin. …we don't actually need all the hot water it is creating now. We also had plenty of visitors to our house over summer so often there was considerably more than a household of 4 people. There was no excessive water dumping... For the last 6 month period (equinox to equinox) there was 100% solar contribution… assuming 10kWh/day for our family of 4; that would be an annual solar contribution of 77%… I am happy with the performance of the system.
